About Us
Nearly 2000 years ago Christ gave His life on the cross so that we might be saved from our sins. On the day of Pentecost over 3000 people were baptized for the forgiveness of their sins and added to the church (see Acts 2:38-47), the church which Christ purchased with His own blood (Acts 20:28). In Eph. 4:3-6, the Apostle Paul tells us that there is only one body, one Lord, and one faith. The body is the church (Eph 1:22,23), the Lord is Jesus Christ, and the faith comes from the word of God (Rom 10:17). The church of Christ in Oak Grove has no earthly headquarters or human creed. We are simply striving to serve and worship according to the pattern and teachings of the New Testament.
